Plugins are the components that help your browser view multimedia files
such as videos, audio, and animated graphics. Your professor may use a
variety of multimedia files during your course that may require you to
download from the Internet an appropriate plugin.
For example, if your professor has loaded a course video file named stmarytx.mov, you
will need Quicktime to play this video. To see if you have Quicktime, try
playing the movie (usually by clicking on the movie). If the movie plays
in Quicktime, or even another capable plugin, you are in good shape. However,
if the movie did not play you'll want to locate the plugin from our list
below.
